Beautiful (and Sensible) Maine Lupines

Nancy stopped by the Maine Lakes Resource Center yesterday to capture this shot of the lupines and wildflowers by the stream. This is the season for the beautiful lupines in Maine that are so popular by the side of our roadways.
Not only are lupines beautiful, but they are part of the Resource Center’s efforts to minimize run-off into the waters in the area and to educate people about alternatives to having a lawn at their summer cottage or lake house.
