NMC Account Executive Visits Maine Wilderness Lodges

NMC Account Executive Kevin Gove recently traveled with Maine Office of Tourism Senior Tourism Officer Phil Savignano to the Appalachian Mountain Club office in Greenville, Maine.

There, they met AMC Maine Policy Director Bryan Wentzell who drove them east into the 100-Mile Wilderness region to visit and learn about two Maine Wilderness Lodges that are part of AMC’s Maine Woods Initiative.

The main lodge at Gorman Chairback Lodge and Cabins (GC). The property was originally a private camp built in 1867 on Long Pond, and later became a traditional Maine sporting camp.
