I love entrepreneurs…especially those who have invented a niche

Entrepreneurs who have created their own niche fascinate and inspire me.

One such entrepreneur who is also a client (and friend!) is Jenny Taliadoros of Kingfield, Maine. She publishes a magazine, a website, an enewsletter and a blog all about paper dolls. Now isn’t that one of those ‘who’da thought?’ moments?  Vintage glamour and bling in books full of old-fashioned paper dolls to cut out, dress up, save, trade, collect and enjoy. Check it out at www.paperdollreview.com and www.paperstudiopress.com.  Jenny is the third generation paper doll aficionado in her family. Her mother and her grandmother are also into paper dolls. But Jenny has created a paper doll empire!  She contracts with fashion illustrators and with big Hollywood stars (or their estates) like Sonja Henie, Esther Williams, Greta Garbo and even Phyllis Diller! Lately she has been traveling to Vegas and Hollywood to meet with stars and their agents, and to inspect their closets for wardrobe ideas to add to her paper doll collections. Election Day is finally here

I am eager to hear the outcome of the election today, but I am even more eager for the election to be over. I am tired of the trashy-looking election signs all over the roadsides, I am tired of the TV ads where the candidates snipe  endlessly at each other, and I am tired of the ongoing news reports with nothing newsworthy about the candidates.
