Meet artist Claudia Diller
Claudia Diller is a good friend of mine. We worked together in the mid-1980s at The Irregular (www.theirregular.com) which is a weekly paper in Kingfield, Maine. Since then, we have stayed in touch although I wish we had more time to spend together. She’s one of those friends who makes you think about ‘stuff,’ and who helps keep you grounded while also imagining the possibilities….a really interesting person who I am glad to know.
She is now a professional designer and illustrator who has spent the past 40 years living and working in Maine. She divides her time between the western mountains and the coast, and her paintings represent those two worlds.
The illustrations on my blog are from her “Peaceful Places” calendar which she publishes each year. Go to www.claudiadiller.com for more information or to order your 2011 edition. These calendars usually sell out! She is also available for graphic design and custom illustration projects. I’ve worked with her on a variety of projects and she always does a fabulous job.
Thanks Claudia, for allowing me to share your beautiful artwork with my blogience! (That’s the word I made up meaning: audience of my blog.)

Hey – we’re in September 2011!
Love the blog and love you,
c
